Graduating from any grade or school level (i.e. high school, college, university etc) or making any career change are major chapters in one's life. It's the most pronounced time of clarity of that ominous question, "What's my purpose?".
Most people want to know they are on the path that will lead to joy and rich fulfillment. The earlier you ask, the more sure you are to find it.
But the truth is, it's never too late to ask for and discover your path and purpose in life. The only ones who don't discover it are the ones who never ask.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares
the Lord, “plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
GOD just wants you to be more than what and how you started. GOD (a.k.a The Ultimate Creator") loves it when you take the seeds of anything like a grape and plant a vineyard. You can eat all the grapes and enjoy it for a season or you can take a portion and expand the vineyard for a continuous harvest and ongoing pleasure.
You can also earn money from selling the good grapes. You can even earn money by selling the dried grapes as raisins.
But you can earn the highest profit margins, if you harvest the grapes at their peak, crush them, put them into oak barrels, then sell the fermented juice from the grapes as fine wine in due season. The grapes have value in and of themselves in the marketplace. But you recognizing its additional use as a well seasoned wine makes it even more valuable.
Please don't overlook the expensive oak barrels. They come from mighty oak trees which were one tiny acorns. That's not man's doing. That's just GOD being GOD. Upgrading is just GOD's nature.
The same goes for olives to olive oil and aloe plants to aloe vera juice or aloe as a liquid band aid. Any evolution is the highest compliment to your Creator.
GOD sends you to your parents full of potential. It's your job to recognize your own gifts and talents and create something out of nothing even if your parents don't see it in you first. After all, coal is just a lump of fossilized rock until under pressure. Then it becomes a precious and valuable diamond. Which are you?
Regardless of your background or education, your gift makes room for you. Recognize your gift. Package it the best you can until you can do better. Market it to the community (locally, regionally or worldwide on the internet).
A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.
Proverbs 18:16
Whether it is a job, a position, a career or a business, give your highest quality of service to others. GOD comes around every season to see if you've developed yourself or not.
Hard knocks are often a way to steer you onto the right path. Life rewards those who make good use of gifts, ideas, talents, and unique qualities GOD gave them. Discover yours. May GOD bless and prosper you exceedingly for doing so.
