Healing Ancestral PTSD Wounds for PASSOVER Part 5

Who may go up on the mountain of Adonai? Who may stand in His holy place? One with clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He will receive a blessing from Adonai, righteousness from God his salvation. Psalm 24:3-5

This post is probably the most important of the healing series. Because it applies to everyone on earth.

Pesach is not just for Jews; it's the overall theme of humanity. It's why we're here.

Everyone must overcome something as it pertains to the desires of the flesh. (greed, poverty, drugs, alcohol, over indulgence etc) If you are wearing a body, you are still in exile so to speak.

That is you, me, we are in exile from our first home....the Garden of Eden. Now it makes sense. Right?

Pesach (Passover) uses bread as a metaphor. Why bread?
First of all who doesn't enjoy bread? Everyone likes bread. Oprah loves bread!

But seriously; what makes bread rise? Yeast! Leaven! It causes bread to get all puffed up.

What causes man to get puffed up? Pride! Ego. It's the one thing God likes least.

The Book of Job describes Leviathan (the serpent) as the father of pride. Oh that can't be good. You're right. It's not.

Leaving Egypt meant the Hebrews had to leave hurriedly without baked bread. They had to leave their inner leaven, pride, behind in order to escape Egypt (inner and outer) under God's trusted Hand. The Hebrews had to trust GOD.

Easy? No. If it was easy, we would all already be in the Promised Land right now and today.

We started this healing series months ago. Part of your assignment was to clean your home. That's what God tells us to do before Pesach aka Passover.

Clean every corner if your house from chametz. That's crumbs.

Remember, the Titanic didn't sink from a huge whole. It was small.

Just a little leaven over time can cause someone to fall. Ask Adam and Eve. "We got it from here, Hashem. Thanks." You know the rest. 🙄

Remove the bread, cookies, beans, cereal. Remove everything that swells when you add water.

Water represents Torah. Torah (holy book of instruction/old testament) heals the soul.

We started cleaning our memories, old vendetta's, homes, closets, garages etc about a month ago. Right?

Admittedly, this year, everything just piled up for me. Yikes! I probably should have started preparing last year. 🙄

When anyone starts digging, OLD stuff pops up. It's like a jack in the box. Hit one and another pops up. It's like that. Everything is connected.

Heal or tackle one thing and the tag a long says hey what about me. Oh dear. I forgot about that. Let's get that too.

I couldn't believe it. I had forgotten NOT to buy bread from my fave bulk store during my last visit. I was so embarrassed!

And then I had to find kosher matzah (a.k.a. glutten free) specifically for Passover. I'm almost in tears by now. I  need  kosher a shopper. Quick!

I thought; what am I going to do with all this bread? I offered it to everyone who entered the door. Everyone! Suddenly, everyone was on a carb diet. Selling it (chametz) is still not my forte.

Anyway, the point is,  God knows most people who are prideful don't know it themselves. So He says clean your home from chametz and I'll clean you. And it works!

Don't skip these steps people. I'm in it too.

Moses had to clean his house. He first had to leave Egypt himself, meet his wife, learn how to shepherd under the stewardship of Jethro etc.

Mind you, Moses was raised in a king's palace. That had to be hard.

I had to clean my (inner and outer) house too.  I'm still cleaning in a way.

You know the saying, next year, Jerusalem? Not me, I'm thinking I'll start next week!

Passover is April 5-13, 2023 and I was cleaning up until 11:59pm last night. LORD help me

That's my favorite prayer by the way. I teach it to children. It's more reliable than the tooth fairy.

LORD help me. LORD forgive me. And the 23rd Psalm are all great prayers to teach children before they can read or write. Teach them how to pray. Lead by example.

O my God, in You I trust, so I will not be ashamed, and my enemies will not gloat over me. Surely no one who waits for You will be ashamed. But the treacherous without cause will be ashamed. Psalm 25:2-3

We are not told to believe in God. We are told to know God for yourself.

Know God. What better time to experience and know GOD for yourself than as a child?

That's when you believe just about anything! You're not jaded by the disappointments of life.

And God is true. You won't have to retract it later.

That's the next thing. Teach your children to know God. Ironically, it's by teaching that we really learn.

In fact, the very heart of Passover (Pesach) is the telling of the story of Exodus. Tell it. Don't forget.

In fact, African Americans, Indigenous peoples, Latinos (most are Israelites by the way) and any people who has an ancestral history of enslavement or oppression should tell it. It's their story too. It just got lost or beat out of them.

People forget when they are oppressed. They are too busy trying to survive.

Telling the story (Exodus) is a warning for your children. It protects them. (Read/Download the Hagaddah

Upon reading the Hagaddah, you will notice something "out of order". There is no emphasis of gathering the 12 tribes nor reading of The Laws given to Moses by Hashem (the Lord) on Mount Sinai.

Those two items plus the submission (humility) to be taught are a gross over site. I apologize for anyone I offend.

Personally, I nor my people would ever reenact what it was like being a slave. We're still coming out of it mentally and emotionally.

Study the ten laws given to Moses. (Deuteronomy).Study the Book of Joshua. You have to connect to your soul. Think.

Learn it. Teach it. Know it.

Show me Your ways, Adonai. Teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth, and teach me,for You are God, my salvation, for You I wait all day. Psalm 25:4-5

There' a reason for everything God tells us to do, and not to do. And it's for our own good. Not eating non kosher food is for our good. Certain foods make it difficult to tune into God's channel.

They (shelled fish, pigs, vultures etc)  are also earth's vacuum cleaners. They cause an imbalance in the earth and your body.

Humble yourself? How?

God knows. Clean your house. It's both literal and metaphorical.

You are more likely to clean your car, change the oil, and replace the filter in your furnace than you are to fast twice a year. Right? Think about it.

Fasting cleans your gut, lowers your cholesterol, your blood pressure, and a multitude of other things. But God just says clean your house of chametz. It works. (Not to repeat the obvious, but we are told to do this DEEP CLEANING (a.k.a fasting) at least every once six months (Rosh Hoshana and Pesach).

But most of us are too religious or too let's just say constipated to have noticed. Know what I mean?

I'll just pray. No Homer Simpson. Clean your dirty gut! You hear?

Your soul is in your gut by the way. It's behind you navel. 🙄

I know. Whaaaaat? That little thing is a pretty big thing after all. Thus, listening to your intuition is wise.

Food effects how we think. See how calm you become. That is after being irritated that you don't know what to eat.  That is if you enjoy bread like me.

What? No pasta, rice. cookie, cakes, bread or cereal this week, then what are we eating? Sounds like Homer Simpson. Right?

But that's the point. Think about it. Think about what you put into that vessel called your body. What are you eating? In what are you indulging? What are you watching? What are you listening? What are you reading?

Garbage? News? Soap opera? Novellas? Source of Life? Think about it.

Guard my soul and deliver me. Let me not be ashamed, for I take refuge in You. May integrity and uprightness protect me for I wait for You. Psalm 25:22-21

Pride caused the Hebrews to rebel against Moses and the elders in the desert. God had enough.

What my miracles aren't enough for you? You still don't think I can take care of you... all of you?

Do you think the One who created heaven, earth, the galaxies and universes can't provide for eight billion people? People, what are you thinking?

Raise your consciousness. Raise your expectations.

Passover forces you to put down the flesh and tune into your soul. It's your soul that talks to God.

False humility (chametz) caused the Hebrews not to allow God to speak to them directly. It's caused them to build a golden calf while waiting for Moses to return from his private meeting with Hashem with the two stone tablets down the mountain. It also caused them to give a bad report (all but Caleb and Joshua who were later rewarded) when the tribe captains were sent into the Promised Land to report what they saw.

So what does God do? God tells Moses to chill.

Leave these unbelieving heathens in the wilderness. When they die, I'll bring forth their children.

Teach them (the children). I'll raise up a larger and mightier nation. I'll wait. I'm an eternal God. 😱

There's a standard in the world to come. And these whining, impatient, disrespectful people are not coming into my peaceful Garden of abundance.

They're not ready. Know that.
So what do we do? We practice. We read and study Torah.

We teach our children. We learn. We clean our homes, heal our bodies, pray, and heal and ascend our souls. Ascend our souls? Constantly. It never ends.

As we heal, we change our environment (home and planet). When we do mitzvahs (do charity/help others), contribute to our communities, do justice, we restore the hidden sparks.

What are the hidden sparks you say? The hidden sparks is God's broken heart. Broken because the children of God thought they could live without a relationship (connection) with God.

As if. No one can live without oxygen. No one can live without the breath of life (Ruach). Your very breath (Ruach) is God. God lives in you. Yet how often do you acknowledge God through out the day? Yes. Day. Not as many as you would think.

Is Moshiach/Messiah coming? Yes, Moshiach is most definitely coming. The stage has already been set. It's already started.

Redeem Israel, O God, from all their troubles. Psalm 25:22

The real question is, will you (me and we) be ready? LORD help me.

When you no longer need to come here for reading assignments. When you read the Tenach as a daily habit. When you bless and not curse your children (even when angry). When you pray daily. When you do charity. When you tithe. When you do kind acts to others for no reason. Then, you will truly know God.

Until then and even when, feel free to come for a refresher. That's why we're here.🤗

Sameach Pesach! Shalom, Mazel & Bracha,
LeTicia 💕
